"Now Argentina's token is going up, which country's fan token will go up?"
Argentina's run to the Copa America final finally managed to double the price of the country's fan token called ARG, which rose more than 65% in the last 24 hours, making it the second largest soccer coin by market capital.
Based on observations, the price of ARG, which increased 98.8% over the past week, has reached $2.34, the highest level since May 30, 2024, driven by the excitement of Argentina's Copa America performance which is increasing.
Its price increase has made ARG the most traded fan token on the crypto market with its daily trading volume increasing 578.50% at $23.8 million which is four times higher than the Paris Saint-Germain fan token.
However, it came in short of the record $32.4 million achieved during the lead up to the Qatar 2022 World Cup which Argentina also won with the token seeing its price reach an all-time high of $9.1.
Additionally, the Spanish National Football Team (SNFT) fan token also witnessed a 10% increase from $0.023 to $0.026 following Spain's win over France in the European Championship last Tuesday.
Launched in 2021, the ARG token has been issued by the Argentine Football Association via Socios.com which is a fan engagement platform powered by the Chiliz blockchain that serves as the main trading platform for sports and entertainment tokens.
ARG token holders get access to a variety of exclusive team activities, experiences and VIP services including the opportunity to meet team players and access the Estadio Monumental which is a historic football stadium in Buenos Aires Argentina.
