BlackRock Gives Bold Statements, ETFs Will Reach $4 Trillion By 2030!

"How can it be, no matter what we have to see, there are 6 more years before 2030."

BlackRock, the giant asset investment firm suddenly projected global ETFs will reach $4 trillion in assets by 2030 shortly after Bloomberg reported more than $160 billion had been reached by 2024.

Pleased to note the approval of BlackRock's iShares Bitcoin Trust (IBIT) was instrumental in its assets under management (AUM) reaching $10.6 trillion in the second quarter of 2024, marking a 13% year-over-year increase.

It should be noted that ETFs are very important to the cryptocurrency market in 2024 following the BTC price that quickly reached an all-time high of $73,000 just three months after the product began trading.

Amid BTC's success, BlackRock, which predicts active ETFs will reach $4 trillion in assets by 2030, is poised to capitalize on the benefits through the acquisition of more market share.

As there is growing demand for active strategies, BlackRock's Head of Thematic ETFs and ETFs Jay Jacobs said greater spreads between individual stocks and sectors have occurred after seeing higher volatility.

Jacobs also revealed that the secular trend of ETF mergers has made investors more interested in using ETFs and this is good news for crypto plus Ethereum (ETH) is also ready to launch an ETF spot which is expected to happen on July 23, 2024.

While Bloomberg journalist Eric Balchunas predicts that Solana (SOL) will be the next digital asset that will launch a spot ETF and then continue to strengthen its asset class position in institutional investment.
